Setting a Password for the Options Menu

Setting a Password for the Options Menu

To maintain the security of your VisitorRego system, we offer a feature that allows you to password protect the Options Menu. This feature serves to prevent unauthorised access to critical settings, ensuring that only authorised personnel can make modifications. By implementing password protection, you can fortify the integrity of your VisitorRego system and maintain control over essential configurations.

The Options Menu contains most of VisitorRego's settings. To prevent unauthorised changes, you can apply password protection to this section.

Setting up the password

To set a password, from VisitorRego's Admin mode, select Options> General tab, then expand the General section.

Select the Password field.
Enter your desired password into the blank field.

Close out of the System Setup window to hold the changes.

The Options menu will now be password protected.

Using the password

From VisitorRego's Admin mode, select Options.

A window will appear, prompting you to enter the password.
Enter the password, then select the 'Go To Options' button.

The options menu will open, allowing you to make changes.
