Setting up Email notifications

            VisitorRego has the ability to send an email notification to the staff member with whom the visitor is here to see.
            To utilise this feature, your VisitorRego appliance will need to have a network/internet connection and the staff list populated with the email address of the staff member or members you wish to send the notification to.

            To set up emailing, from Admin mode choose Options> System Setup> Email tab.

            There are four options regarding your email server:
            1. SQL DBMail
            2. SSL external 
            3. Your company's own SMTP server
            4. VRF Mail

            Choose the option which applies to you by clicking on one of the links above.

            You can modify the body of the email sent by modifying the file (In directory C:\Program Files\VisitorRego.NET\Res)


            The banner that appears in the email notification page displayed to the visitor can can be found (and edited as required)  in the directory: 
            C:\Program Files\VisitorRego.NET\Res\MessagingCompanyLogo.png
