Shutting down the computer


Below is a guide to shutting down the VisitorRego computer safely and securely.


From the main Self-Registration screen where visitors enter their details to register, tap on the VisitorRego.com logo in the top left-hand corner of the screen.



This allows you to toggle to the Windows desktop.

Note: If you have a password protected VisitorRego, then you will need to put the password into the name field (leaving the cursor in the name field) and THEN click on the VisitorRego.com icon in top left-hand corner.


If the computer was built by VisitorRego, you will see a shortcut in the top right-hand corner of the desktop. Double-tap the icon you wish to use to either Shut down or Restart the computer.




You can also shut down the computer using the traditional Windows Start menu from the Windows desktop.

 

1.   Tap the Windows Start button found on the bottom left corner of the Windows desktop.


2.   Tap the power icon.


3.   Tap Restart or Shut down depending on if you are restarting or shutting down the computer.




 

The methods above will shut down the computer safely and correctly.
