Step 3 - Uninstall/Re-install

Uninstall

The next step is to uninstall the old version of VisitorRego from your computer.

To do this, go into your windows Control Panel and select 'Uninstall a Program' from the 'Programs and Features'section.

Select VisitorRego.NET and click 'Uninstall'. Windows will ask you if you are sure, click 'Yes' then wait while Windows Installer removes the files.

Reinstall

The VisitorRego Support Team will have sent you two links to upgrade files in an email. Click through to the links, download, extract and save to your System folder or any other folder you would like to use.

First you will need to install the .NET 4 framework that VisitorRego requires to run. You will find this in one of the links that you have been sent. Go to the folder where you have saved this.
Right click the file named .NetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe and select 'Run as Administrator'.

Wait while Windows extracts the files and guides you through the installation process. Read and accept the license terms, then click 'Install'.

See the Quick Install section in this support centre for a guide to installing VisitorRego.NET.

Now, restart your computer and move onto the final step of the upgrade process.
