Initialize the Tags and Start logging on all Tags for a Project - Best Practices

These instructions explain the fastest way to initialize all of the tags for a project and how to start logging on all of them quickly so that when you run your reports, the date-time stamps on the temperature data from each tag is as close as possible to all of the other tags in the project.

Here are the instructions to initialize the tags for your pour/project and how to get them logging:

1) Scan for tags to add new tags to the handheld by clicking on Tag, then Scan for Tags

2) Remove any tags that you do not want to be part of your pour from the list by single-clicking on them, then click Tag, Delete Tag

3) Click on Tag, then on Reuse Tags, then on Resue All Tags.  This will initialize all the tags for you in your project and get them started logging.

Please note: Starting with HardTrack Mobile version 4.1._01.17, step 4 is no longer necessary.  Starting with HardTrack Mobile version 4.1._01.17+, as part of the Reuse All Tags function, the final step of Reuse All Tags automatically runs Restart All.

This step will get the date-time stamps for each temperature log on each tag as close as possible to all of the other tags in the project.  This makes for a nicely formatted final report for your project owner.

4) Single-click on one of the tags.  Then click on Tag, then click on Logging, then click on Restart All.
