Question Settings : Hide Questions

Hide Questions

Some surveys require certain questions to be hidden or shown in response to another question.

Take the following simple survey as an example:

1. What is your favourite animal from the following?

- Cat
- Dog

2. Why do you like cats?

3. Why do you like dogs?

Ideally if the respondent chooses 'Cat' for question 1 you don't want to show question 3.

To do this you need to firstly create your survey with all the possible questions as follows:



Now open the choice question and open the hide questions section as shown below and select the choice and which question(s) needs to be hidden if that option is chosen, as shown below



Then click the Add button to save the rule. Then repeat for any other options as shown below




Now go ahead and test the survey by clicking on the preview icon 



If you remove or move your questions or responses after adding these rules you may need to reassign them again
