Recommended Android Phones for Use with Dot3D (Pro, X, or Lite)

Please see below for a running list of Android phones supported for use with Dot3D (Pro, X, or Lite) and Intel RealSense (or DPI-X/DPI-XSR) depth cameras. This list will continue to grow as we run further tests and receive more user feedback. Below is also a recommended list of short, compatible USB C-to-C cables for the connection. On any platform, please always make sure you are running the latest Android version available for the device.

Please click here to review minimum specs for all platforms. On Android, a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset is required.

Recommended Phones:
  1. Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, S10, S10+, S9, & S9+
  2. Samsung Galaxy Note20, Note20 Ultra, Note10, & Note9
  3. Google Pixel 5, 4a*, 4,, 4 XL, 3, & 3 XL
  4. Motorola Moto Z3, Moto Z3 Play
    *Pixel 4a is not recommended for the RealSense L515. All other cameras tested were successful.
Recommended Cables:
  1. USB C-to-A cable included with all RealSense kits
**Please note that USB-A to USB-C adapters may not work properly for this connection. We recommend the USB C-to-C options listed above.**
