Pension History File Exception


An issue was introduced with version 2.54 during the upgrade process. A small change to the structure of Pension files was made, but the Pension history file was not updated to match. As a result of this, a crash could occur when updating or viewing the Pension history (refer to Pension History for more information [link]). This crash, or attempts to resolve it via Rebuild Indexes, could also corrupt your Flexipay data.


To rectify this error, the CONV254 program has been updated to resolve the issue. This program is automatically run as part of the upgrade process, and completing the 2.54.0.1 upgrade will prevent this issue from occurring, or fix it if you have previously upgraded to version 2.54.


Note: if you update Flexipay manually (i.e. do not use the installer), you must run the CONV254 program. Please refer to the 2.54 upgrade instructions for more information on how to do this. [link]


Changes to Rounding


Version 2.54.0.1 also includes a correction to the rounding rules for Company NI contributions so they are in line with HMRC specifications, which have changed slightly.
