Reference Guide: 7 Text and Reference Panes

The Reference and Text panes allow you to add textual notes to your audio. Use Page Up/Page Down to move up and down through the text sections.

You can type while focus is in the Audio Pane. This will add whatever you type directly into the Text pane and return you to the Audio Pane. For more information see 'Typing in the Audio Pane'.

You can add bulleted or numbered lists from the Side Bar, see Formatting Text, and have Audio Notetaker read your text, see Text To Speech (TTS).

If you have a lot more text than audio in one or more sections, you can temporarily hide all the text that extends beyond the audio using the Truncate button at the top of each pane.

To truncate the Reference Pane you can also use the short cut key F9.

Once truncated, you can expand either pane again using the same button or F9 (Reference Pane only).
